Work has become the bane of my existence.
Summer has arrived and with it the influx of the management’s offspring who all “work” at the restaurant.
I have learned that work is a relative term. Relative to whom one is related.
However, having dinner with a lovely and dear friend the other night I discovered The Elixir of the Gods!
This is mighty good people. My profound thanks to the folks at Southern Tier Brewing Company for creating such an amazing concoction that with every sip pushes all thoughts of work further and further from my mind.

Coffee stout sounds revolting to me! I’m glad someone likes it- I guess it perks you up and damps you down at the same time, leaving you with odd tastes in your mouth and reasonably sober!! I thought you were working in nursing… I lose track, duhhh.
Let me assure you it does not taste revolting in the least! While it does not quite make me “comfortably numb” it is a lovely and tasty way to relax. And, sadly, I have not been at the hospital since last December.
