I just love when my housekeeping skills are so brilliantly showcased! Here is to a great weekend with perhaps a splash of cleaning on top! I see nothing with wrong with the housekeeping skills there! This reminds me so much of my mom and something she said to me when I got married. Although I spent every weekend growing up doing chores which included cleaning around the house my Mom still said to me “When you have your own family with children, and when you have friends over, just remember, they will not remember how clean your house is, they will remember the memories you make for them in it. So don’t stress about a perfect home.” Although I’ve never been able to let go and not have cleanliness and order in my sanctuary, I’ve never forgotten those words, they are so true. Thanks for this post and jogging my brain with a nice memory. 🙂 Reply Kate on July 30, 2010 at 11:37 AM I have a copper wash boiler just like that! I think your housekeeping skills are awesome.
