TGIF! (Even on a Friday the 13th!!) I mean really, what is better after a nice long vacation than the weekend, amirite?
As I ease back into real life (as opposed to fake life? LOL Or, how about the ‘normal routine’ haha!) the weekend is just what I needed! And it feels good to be back to “normal” happy hours and normal weekend plans. Nothing feels better than the “normal routine”! I am such a creature of habit!
However, I am sorely missing those Michigan views and today’s image is from a most spectacular sunset on our last day in Michigan.
I do have lots of fun links this week, starting with a big shout out to Margene and Vicki for making this list! Bravo ladies!
- Slow Knitting: a journey from sheep to skein to stitch (and there is a free pattern available on MDK!)
- Knit/Wit has a new pattern: Calamosca Cowl
- A Bear and A Bunny Suit
- Making No. 4 / Lines has some lovely patterns in it, but I especially love this!
- The fade phenomenon comes to the cardigan.
- Woods: Making Stories
- Full Circle Cowl (with the hopes that it will soon be cowl weather here!)
That is all I have for the week, enjoy your weekend – whatever your routine is! See you back here on Monday!
So many fun links. And that list of blogs will keep me busy for a long time!
I always look forward to the first weekend after the return from a vacation!
I can see why you would miss beautiful Michigan sunsets like that; hopefully happy hour and some knitting at home will begin to make up for it until you visit again. I had no idea there were so many knitting blogs, and I’m happy to “know” Margene and Vicki (and you, Kat)!
Hey, thanks! That’s quite a list of blogs. 😉
I’m missing Michigan views, and we were hardly there compared to you! Wishing you a relaxing, settling weekend!
TGIF even though I have many more “Saturdays” than most! Your Michigan views are certainly beautiful enough to be missed! I’m shocked to be counted on the list (I am no longer an obsessive knitter and haven’t been a spinner since 2009), but I will be checking out some of the blogs I don’t know.
Allison would LOVE the WOODS sweaters. I’ve sent her a rav link. Happy Weekend to you too
You always have the best links (and I promise I’m not just saying that because you’ve linked my new pattern)! Thanks for sharing that beautiful sunset.
Beautiful sunset. I hope your reentry into everyday life goes smoothly.
WooHoo Margene and Vicki (and thank you for sharing the list – I added a few blogs to my reader). I fell HARD for that Fade Cardigan. Bought the pattern and I’ve spent hours this weekend looking at yarn…
I’d have a tough time leaving vistas like the one/s you shared! Thanks for the link to the 100 knitting blogs – lots to ponder and dip into over the weeks…and hooray for Margene and Vicki! Wahoo!
Cheers~
