No unraveling yet this month, and I am making some good progress on my shawl of many colors! In my reorganization of the yarn stash, I found 2 more colors of KSH that I did not know I had and added them to the mix. I used one this week and I am now crossing off the colors I have used twice. I think that I can see the beginning of a glimmer of light down this tunnel! And, that glimmer of light is certainly a motivating factor because I have picked this up to knit almost every day!
Fortunately, I have had the most wonderful knitting companions with my reading this week! Yes, I finished Lethal White and this might be my favorite book thus far in the series. No spoilers from me, and while it is long – the characters unfold more in this story in a good way! I highly recommend this series and gave it 5-stars.
What about you? How is your making going this week?
As always, if you wrote a post to share today, please leave your link below and thank you for joining us!
P.S. Wasn’t all the Suffragette White impressive last night at the SOTU???
Like you, I feel that Lethal White takes the series – and the characters – to a whole new level. Granted, I was favorably inclined towards the characters anyway, but this was a particularly good book and worth every page.
I really need to read this series! Yet another addition to my to read list!
I don’t know that series but you know I will check it out soon. Happy Wednesday
I agree 100% about Lethal White … sure hope we get another installment soon. and wow – your ADVENTurer is getting even prettier. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I just love all those KSH colors together!
The found colors are pretty!
Hooray for new-found colors of KSH! I wouldn’t have thought it was possible, but it’s going to be even prettier now!
I’m also on Team Lethal White. I’m not sure it’s the best structurally (there’s an awful lot of telling at the end), but it’s definitely my favorite so far. Next on my agenda is to track down the dvd of the British adaptation of the books.
I’m with you on Lethal White. I love your shawl of many colors! It’s the sort of project you want to watch as it grows and changes.
I’m so anxious to see that finished wrap!!!
I so agree about Lethal White–now to wait for the next installment.
Sadly I frogged an almost complete cowl yesterday! I don’t know why I hadn’t noticed that it was twisted until then. The pattern is called the Interrupted Cowl, and it certainly was! Started over just a few moments ago, and happily it isn’t twisted this time. Now, I am off to check out your series.
That wrap is just beautiful. I hope you treat us to a finished object photo. Happy Wednesday.
I’m with everyone: eager to see that shawl’s unveiling! Love the serendipity of finding more yarns! What an adventure! Knit on!
Cheers~
All of those colors behave really well together. !!!
You’re making steady progress on your project! I am reading three books and I’m in the smack dab in the middle of two of them. George Washington will take some time to finish but I’m nearly there.
I haven’t made ANYTHING except dinner. I’m hoping that will change in this next week. I have 2 sweaters I want to cast on as I have a work road trip and a sweater in the round would be GREAT car knitting for 12 +hours.
(Catching up on blogs here.) Your KSH *thing* is gorgeous! I read Lethal White late last year and liked it a lot, too.
