Is for a bit of celebration… Yes, on a Monday!
This morning started a “normal” week with Steve back at the office! Which means my normal routine is being resumed, which makes me very happy. Granted, it will be a short-lived celebration because he has next Monday off. Sigh.
Anyways, I have a good-sized list of to-do’s (because of course I do!) BUT!
I also have a reward list to inspire me to plow through those to-do’s. Perhaps I can set a bit of a record with the cleaning portion of that list… and thankfully the Cleaning Police never come to check all the corners! Hahaha.
I hope your Monday has lots of rewards! I will see you all back here on Wednesday!
Oh yuk, house cleaning, speed through it for the reward.
I can verify that the Cleaning Police have never stopped here for an inspection. I fact, I wonder if they even exist?! Have a good Monday with lots of rewards!
returning to normal life is so fulfilling!! I too am enjoying the ordinary.
Have a happy MONDAY!
I haven’t worked on Monday for the last 2 weeks either AND I also have next Monday off! This is my first week of working all 4 days since the Christmas break and I’m not terribly excited about it. LOL
My mom had a theory about dirt. There was clean dirt, the kind that is in the middle of the floor and that only means the person (always a woman) hadn’t swept the floor today. Dirty dirt was the grunge in the corners that meant the person (always a woman) hadn’t done a thorough cleaning in a long time. Although I can see her reasoning, I reject it. Both kinds of dirt means that the person (either a man or woman) is far too busy with other more important things than scrubbing the corners of the kitchen. Or, in our case, to decrepit to do it. Thank FSM the Cleaning Police have never stopped at my house, or, for that matter, the Knitting Police.
I always welcome a return to the ordinary or normal. I hope by now your “chores” are finished and you are being handsomely rewarded!!
Isn’t it funny how sometimes we can’t wait for our loved ones to leave so we can have our normal routine back? I hope it’s a productive day for you.
I hear that the Cleaning Police have joined the Fashion Police and given up! Hope you cleared your to-do list with no hiccups. XO
Your Monday sounds a bit like mind – a list of a few chores to accomplish. Some kind of reward is just necessary at the end of the day.
