The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!” she cries
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
– Emma Lazarus

If you live long enough, you’ll make mistakes. But if you learn from them, you’ll be a better person. It’s how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit. – William J. Clinton
Last week I shared that I had made several mistakes in a weaving project and my decision was to go back, fix the errors, and begin again.
Now here it is Monday and I am happy to announce that I fixed the problems – it was not easy, but it was not impossible! I made the errors because I over thought the threading pattern and the process.

It’s my time to recharge for the week ahead. My hope is that today will do the same for you. Happy Sunday, Gentle Reader.
