Photographic Overload Friday

Photographic Overload Friday

Today I am sharing my brief, but spectacular trip to Michigan in photos!

It was a whirl-wind weekend, packed full of so many good things!

My backyard pano was insane!

Monday’s sunset was truly amazing, but boy was I happy to get into my own bed!

And that, my friends, brings us to another weekend. One that will, at least for me, be much less busy! See you all back here on Monday and I hope you all have a great weekend!

Vacation Memories

Vacation Memories

I took so many photos while we were on vacation, and while a good number of them were taken with my phone – I did take a quite a few with the “big camera”.

Here are my big camera vacation memories. (With a few iPhone photos interspersed!) I hope you enjoy!

Have an awesome Tuesday!

P.S. I saw this on kmkat & her needles yesterday and it is a wonderful cause. And, as kmkat says, the ultimate “potato chip knitting”!

Bluer than Blue

Bluer than Blue

Si quaeris peninsulam amoenam, circumspice or, if you are seeking a pleasant peninsula, look around you.

These words completely describe the beauty that is Michigan, but most especially in the Leelanau Peninsula between Empire and Glen Arbor.

Nestled there along the shore is the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive – a must-do IMO and we went more than once – a study in contrasts, as it were. Our first visit on a gloriously sunny day and a return visit on a very overcast day, with dark, broody skies.

Each day was gloriously beautiful in its own way.

I hope your Thursday is filled with pleasantness around you.
