A series of tiny scissor snips and brilliance is revealed. I do like the texture, Vicki!
Sometimes, the process of creation is slow-going and experimental. I am thinking that a few appliqued stars will improve the plain back.
Then, some Cretan Stitch practice…
It seems unreal to me that August is almost halfway over. The big bees seem to know though and this morning I woke to find the first overnight guest of the season. Yes, this large bee spent the night in the butterfly bush and, even though I am trying desperately to slow down time, waking to find this bee is certainly the best way to start the day.
I hope your day is full of lovely surprises, too!
The luxury of having an indulgent morning is really quite lovely. It almost outweighs the condition of my hands and nails when August arrives each year. Yes, all the weeding, digging, cultivating, and watering are taking their toll on my hands and nails.
Sitting still while waiting for your nails to dry is saved from sheer boredom by the company of a wonderful book.
Happy Tuesday, everyone!
My list is much shorter today than yesterday.
Yesterday, I cut out all the things. I also knit more of Clue 6 while I caught up on the season finale of Endeavor. I am nearing the end of the MKAL with just 6 rows to go on the extended version and then the bind-off!
However, today I am spending some time with my sewing machine once I have all these patterns marked!
The determination to get caught up is strong and I am so close!
Close on a cover all for Book Bingo and close to being caught up with KK’s MKAL clues! AND… as you can see, I am still not close to the end of skein number one!
Happy Tuesday all!
