I don’t know about you, but it seemed like the weekend sped past.
And, there was no carding completed.
I know.
But, there was so much other stuff that got done, I am almost not upset.
Almost.
There was also no laundry getting done over the weekend so this morning I was greeted by Mount Kilimanjaro – the laundry version.
But, there were days of Al Fresco dining, cocktails, and lots of yard work – even a little bit of sunburn was obtained!
I hope your weekend was wonderful and that your Monday is not harsh!
P.S. Rhubarb experts… do I cut the flower out now, or wait? Help!!
More cocktails, less laundry! Our rhubarb was here when we moved in 26 years ago, and I just cut the leaves and use the stems as usual. It has never flowered, so I had to look it up out of curiosity. I’m not any kind of rhubarb expert (I didn’t even know it flowered!), but this guy seems to feel pretty strongly that you should cut it out (and then display it on your mantel?): http://www.rhubarb-central.com/rhubarb-flowers.html
Is that a G&T? A girl after my own heart.
That all looks so good! I can’t help with rhubarb, I’m afraid, unless you want a pie.
Not a rhubarb expert. . . (Tom won’t touch it) . . . so no help here. It was a great weekend, wasn’t it? Gardening > Laundry . . . every time!
When it comes to rhubarb, I’m an expert at eating it. My Dad was the expert in growing it, and every time we moved when I was growing up, the rhubarb came too.
Unfortunately, I didn’t inherit his green thumb genes.
