May stitching brings the completion of five months of my daily stitching routine and to say that this has changed my life is an understatement! It has become the best part of my day, the thing I look most forward to, and I am still amazed at how this has sparked my creativity.
And, I really love that I can look at each day’s stitching and remember the inspiration.
The collage:
And, May complete – pale, lighter, awakening. All the good things that May brings!
June is off to an interesting start as well. I felt I was getting too comfortable in working circularly from the center out, so I am changing things up to a more linear approach this month. I love how uncomfortable it feels right now. That is a sure sign of good things!
Very, very pretty. So glad you are enjoying this. Very relaxing, isn’t it? Thank you for sharing your pictures.
Your stitching is very beautiful!
Beautiful!! I love this so much… more and more!
Stupendous! I can just imagine the peace this practice brings…I would have a hard time tearing myself away and getting on with my day. Ha! Who am I fooling, I already do fight that battle most mornings and I don’t have a lovely stitching project like yours to show for it…
Stitch on! And thanks for sharing.
Cheers~
I love this project so much!!
Such a great project, I’m really enjoying watching it come together each month.
Oh, oh, oh! I am enchanted!!!
I can’t get over how lovely these pieces are! Perhaps I will have to make time for some stitching next year.
I love the embroidery. It is beautiful.
So lovely! Daily commitments make my head spin but maybe one day . . .
I think this project is amazing! Your commitment to something you feel creative doing without internal criticism is something you can teach me – when I become capable of doing anything with me hands. Apart from typing here with just my left hand. Love your colour combinations. I’m a colour freak so perhaps I should start to blog my favourite colour schemes right now, then turn them into patches or knitting when I become able again. Thanks for the boost!
This project is truly inspired! I love watching it unfold every day. Just beautiful, Kat!
First, I love that photo calendar! Second, “I live how uncomfortable that feels” is not a sentence I ever expected to read 🙂
I love your stitching! It is so spontaneous and alive. I need to be more unscripted in my stitching, like you!
Following along is a highlight of my day, too! I’m so glad you share those daily snippets on IG, but I’m especially glad you share the whole finished piece here! I’ve worked center out on all my months so far – huh, I think I’ll change that up for July! Thank you for all the inspiration!
