It was a quiet weekend here with no real plans to do anything, which was perfect.
We did a bit of yard work in the heat, no too much, but just enough and I was pleased to see that this week my first zucchini will be ready for picking!
There was a bit of knitting ā clue one is done and I am patiently waiting (okay, maybe not patiently!) for clue two!
And, the rain today will make it easier to get some indoor things done.
How was your weekend?
Congratulations on your first zucchini! We’ve only had radishes and spinach from the garden so far, but I was happy to spy a tomato blossom. I have high hope of getting lots of yard work done tomorrow after today’s thunderstorms.
Oh zucchini already! WOW. I love the foxglove?
Our weekend was way too much golf . THe PGA was held nearby and Fireman watched hours and hours of it. I just about melted down yesterday ,but I couldnt it was FATHERS DAY. ! TOday, no golf!
My weekend was very productive. Chipping away at my to-do list
Your garden is ahead of ours for sure although I did spy a beautiful squash blossom yesterday. Rainy Mondays are not very exciting, that’s for sure.
I had a long weekend (took Friday off) and it went by too fast! Especially given that this Monday has been crazy. On the plus side, though it was raining on my way into work this morning, for once I did not get drenched.
Your zucchini are much farther along than ours! Our weekend was fun, busy, and I had a minute to spend starting my MKAL!
Zucchini!!! I think your weekend might’ve been a tad more productive than mine, especially in the MKAL department. I did swatch (!!!) but I have yet to actually wind the yarn to start Clue 1. I still have time, right?!? š
I have not started my MKAL yet . . . but maybe this evening yet. (I finished my Colorwash Scarf, and it’s blocking as I type. So. Now I can cast on with a clear conscience.) We’d love a little rain here. It keeps clouding up like it’s going to storm . . . but then just passes us by. So. Dry.
XO
Loving that foxglove. We just planted one and it’s rewarding me with blooms year one! Looking forward to seeing your KAL work!
Zucchini! Do you make bread? Yum! Sounds like a great weekend! Despite the heat!
Cheers~
