The weekend had a definite autumnal feel to it with cool temps, low humidity, and overcast skies. Kind of weird weather for early August, especially since I am not ready to be reminded that summer is winding down.
The weekend weather did afford a bit more Kon-Mari-ing, which is not really my favorite way to spend a weekend but I am pleased with the results.
The weather was perfect for a bonfire on Saturday night which was the first one we have had this summer!
Today is grey and rainy and my to-do list is substantial, so I am just going to focus on my list and hope for some sunshine and warm weather this week!
Happy Monday, everyone!
We had that rain yesterday. Wowza. I do not have to water today! I hope the sun comes out here. Im ready for a porch afternoon and knit afternoon!
I am dreaming of some cooler weather so I can take a stab at my list but it looks like another week of record break heat so I will look to other ways to stay busy and the messy house will have to wait.
I was okay with the cooler weather on Saturday, when it was at least sunny, but yesterday was downright depressing. I’m still waiting for the first tomatoes in my garden to ripen and yet the leaves on my tree in the backyard are already changing colors!
I’m welcoming the grey and rainy day today as a perfect accompaniment to getting some things done inside. Hope you get to cross off lots on your list!
We’re in gray mode for the week, but in the desert that does not necessarily mean rain. Cooler is welcome, however. Hope you’re day is a successful.
We got the all-day, steady rain today…not cool enough for a bonfire tho’. In the middle of August, no less! Climate Change! Congrats on your latest kon-mari effort…I intend to do some this month too…I think!
Cheers~
We had rain on and off today, but the humidity let us know … it’s still August! I’m jealous of that bonfire 😉 happy Monday!
Happy Monday!!
I hope you had a productive Monday!
Our temperatures are decidedly . . . cool . . . right now. Very fall-like. Even the clouds look like fall clouds. Y’know? I’m not quite ready for this. Although it is pleasant. . .
