This week I have a few things that I must finish that have been at the top of my procrastination list for some time. Sadly, there are plenty of things I procrastinate over but these things are especially procrastination worthy and I am not looking forward to them at all.
The weekend was highly productive but unseasonably cool! We got some inside Kon-Mari-ing done. And I have a good-sized pile of clothes to take to the re-sale shop. Today I will continue in Kon-Mari-Mode and clean out some knitting books. Then I will tackle the Procrastination List!
On a brighter note, I am almost done with this sweater! I might even have it done today, if I can wrap my head around the neckband finishing. We shall see how it goes.
I also made some good progress on Kavalier and Clay over the weekend and I should easily have this done soon. I must admit, they are wonderful companions even during the most mundane of tasks!
And with that, I am off to start my Monday! How was your weekend?
I need to pick up my knitting again.
Wasn’t it a lovely weekend? I have to say that I enjoyed the cooler temps. Had a great run on Saturday morning because it was so cool and dry.
Good luck with tackling the procrastination list! I have one myself, and as I’m off from work today and tomorrow, I really should do some of the stuff on it.
Oh my, yes, I have put off (for years) going through my knitting books. I’m to the point I would like to get rid of the lot! (But, I won’t.) Good luck with the rest of your list and congrats on a lovely sweater!
The Procrastination List is the worst, as things have been there for ages which means that I really, really don’t want to do them. Good luck with yours! You can knit sweaters in what seems like a blink of an eye, so I know you can clear that list!
I Kon-Mari’d my knitting books last year. It’s FREEING, I tell ‘ya. (And also so much easier now that there is Ravelry. . . ) I hate my version of The Procrastination List. Hate.
Hope your Monday has been a good one! XO
Your sweater Kat, will be gorgeous. Finish it! I love the color.
My weekend was so busy. Finished summer session at the barn, boated with friends in chilly rainy weather , entertained old friends for the first time at the new house yesterday …
today bwahhhhhh. Zach left for another year in Mexico. He’ll be home for Christmas. He’s so excited to go back. I was grateful our friends were around yesterday so I was busy and distracted.
I’ll just say this: I love vacation Mondays.
My KonMari-type efforts have been temporarily thwarted this summer by people/things beyond my control, but the path will soon begin to clear! So looking forward to “clearing space” — in every sense.
