As you can see not much knitting has been happening on vacation. However, there has been amazing scenery, awesome meals, and LOTS of family time happening. Which makes me miss knitting not at all!
On the reading front, I am still reading 4 3 2 1, but I only have about 300 pages to go! I seriously love this book! Hopefully, I will be done sooner than later as I just got the notification from the library that John le Carre’s new novel is available!
What are you knitting this week?

I love the pic and am so envious! I hope you and your family are having a great time!
Sounds like a wonderful vacation! We leave Saturday and I cannot wait!
Knitting can wait with great scenery like that! Glad you’re having such a well-deserved wonderful time!
Happy to see vacation is treating you well. I looked up 4321…880 pages…but a great review! Maybe!
Ah family vacation = water, beach, food, reading, lots of talk, and maybe knitting. Have tremendous fun!
I tried “4321” but realized how long it was and put it on a list to save to read later, I could tell it is a good one!
I’m packing because I’m going on vacation, too! Enjoy yours!
The water looks amazing, strong, like a life in its own.
Im not reading. Gheesh. I’m just knitting like a crazy woman and watching BASEBALL
ah, LOVE that view!! and the positive in-progress review of 4 3 2 1. I really wanted to read it before the Man Booker is announced, but the reality is … there’s no way!
Gosh, that’s a lovely view!
I am still working my way through the last Outlander book. I think I only have about 400 pages to go, and it sounds ridiculous to say “only 400,” but when the book is 1100+ pages, 400 isn’t that much!
You have seriously chosen a GREAT week to be in Michigan! Gorgeous lake days! I never seem to knit much on vacations; too much other fun stuff to do. Enjoy!
I started reading Exit West and I love it! Knitting Baby Balloon Pants for Jack!
Yay VACATION & FAMILY TIME!! Rusty & I are headed to the UP tomorrow night for a quick get-away. I will definitely bring some knitting, but none will likely happen unless we’re rained out or something. 😉
Since I have my daughter here, I am barely knitting but that will change shortly. I love when vacations crowd out our regular routines (temporarily).
