Today’s reflection is all about yesterday. It was a most wonderful day.
First, we walked where we rarely walk. We visited Indie Knit and Spin where I met Knit/Wit and Rainbow. We walked more along the North Shore and stopped to appreciate memorials and remember those who served. Then we had lunch and a beer or three at Southern Tier Brewery and then headed to the top of Mount Washington to enjoy the view and walk a bit more. The day ended with Wonder Woman (which was really excellent!)
It might have been chilly outside, but the day was one that warmed you on the inside.
I hope your weekend is equally warm!
“It might have been chilly outside, but the day was one that warmed you on the inside.”
Hmmmmmmm … could have been due to the “beer or three.” Just an observation.
Sounds like a lovely day! I love your Pittsburgh photos. Must visit some day, although I know I’ll miss the Pittsburgh I new in 1984-5!
Nature, great views, beer, and more walking makes a terrific day. I’m glad you got to enjoy such a lovely day (and hope it was spent with that handsome guy)!
Your Saturday sounds like a perfectly delightful autumn day! It was 60 here again. I’m loving it!
“a beer or three…” best line yet – and I’m not a beer drinker but I can relate (just substitute ‘champagne.”)
Love, love this post, this day you had and slightly envious…wonderful memories and the opening photo is so gorgeous!
Hope you are enjoying the rest of the week’s end!
Cheers~
what a wonderful day – so many different experiences … all good!
Sounds like a lovely day. My cousin lives in Pittsburgh. Maybe some day I’ll visit again. The first photo is beautiful.
It was so wonderful to finally meet you in person! Sounds like you had a truly lovely day.
What a great day! How the heck did you stay awake for the movie!! 🙂
you make me miss Pittsburgh 🙂 Lovely photos of a weekend well spent!
