I had absolutely no clue what to write about today and then the swissmiss newsletter came!
And, especially this link!
I have:
Rosemary
Wire
Yarn
Perhaps a bit of a riff on this. I am thinking this will be the most festive accompaniment to my Christmas decorations! Who knew I would still have Rosemary growing at the end of November, but somehow I do! I wish you could smell it in here right now!
In a totally unrelated thing: why is it that lights that worked last year when you took them off the tree, magically no longer work this year when you are trying to put them on the tree? I am pretty sure there is a conspiracy in the Christmas light industry to ensure that you must buy new lights every year. GRRRR!
Hope your Tuesday is full of good smells and working lights!
I was expecting something about hot chocolate from swiss miss, but rosemary wreaths are good also! Last year I tried to decorate with as many natural things as possible (real holly, ivy, pine, and pinecones) but I think I’ll add some rosemary this year and enjoy the scent!
Can I just move into your house for the holidays??? It seems mostly decorated for Christmas and I’m sure the rosemary smells fabulous!!!
Those wreaths are adorable! Mmmm. I’m afraid of the lighting situation this year… which is one reason why my tree is still in the basement.
Oh that is one of my favorite smells in the world! And the light thing…oh yeah!
You are reminding me — I really need to cut my rosemary and hang it to dry! (I grow it all summer and then dry it to put in my spice jar during the winter.)
I am no help with the lights. I don’t know if they’ve modernized them, but didn’t it used to be that if one bulb went out, they all did?
Those little rosemary wreaths are adorable! And yeah, what’s up with the lights?
A rosemary wreath would be SO heavenly!
Christmas tree lights….I just but new ones every year. Lol
those wreaths look like fun – and wow – what beautiful photographs! (sorry about your lights … got lucky this year and everything lit up when I plugged it in!)
I love the little rosemary wreaths!!! I think my house needs some of those . . . and, of course, my rosemary is still growing out there, too. (In fact, I went out and chopped parsley from my garden last week for my Thanksgiving stuffing! That has NEVER happened before.)
Good luck with your lights. . .
