At long last, winter is over, and spring is here! And, while it might not feel like spring in my neighborhood today as the last gasps of winter roar outside.
Inside, spring is beginning on my canvas, and my mind is just buzzing with the possibilities!
Happy Vernal Equinox, everyone!
I admire your enthusiasm in the face of more snow, but can’t muster much of my own yet. We’ve got 8-14″ predicted between this afternoon and Thurs. morning. I’d like to say it’s one last Nor’easter before spring really arrives, but I don’t want to risk irritating the weather gods. That is lovely yarn and floss!
We also have a(nother) storm on the doorstep. Spring is about as fickle as she has ever been this year. You are creating another wonderful embroidery project and I look forward to seeing this one grow!
Knocking on wood as I type… I am sitting in a little pocket where the weather events have skirted around all year, hardly any snow to speak of and it’s been pretty mild overall. Weird. But HAPPY SPRING!! I’ll take it.
I, too, hate to tempt fate here. We’re having an “actual spring” for . . . like . . . the first time ever. There is a bit of snow on the horizon, though, and it’s still quite cold. But blue sky and sunshine and no snow on the ground on this first day of spring. I’ll take it!
Can’t wait to see your stitching unfold.
XO
We’re under a winter storm warning for tomorrow. I hope spring shows up soon!
We’re also getting a storm tomorrow…boooooooo! Today is Doug’s birthday though so we’ll celebrate that! (He says he’s the reason there is spring but…clearly Mother Nature isn’t buying that this year!)
Spring snow is so disheartening to me. I love a good rain storm but by March 20th I’m done with snow. Stay safe! Perhaps we’ll be rewarded with a wonderful Summer
I can’t quite believe it’s spring until the snow stops for good!
Why can’t any of these storms come to Wisconsin! We had more cold than snow this past winter, which is hugely disappointing!
