Resting!
It was a weekend full of lots of work; trimming, raking, and bagging umpteen bags of yard debris is hard work! By Sunday night, my body was complaining loudly but, we are ready for spring (even though winter is not entirely done yet…)
Today I am going to spend some time catching my breath and maybe getting started with clue 4 done on my Lunar Phases MKAL! This is the final clue so I now have a vague idea of how this will all come together and can I just say that Larissa Brown is a mad genius!!
And!! There could even be a load or two of laundry in process whilst knitting today. I can be talented like that! Hahaha!
I hope your Monday is full of the things you need.
It’s definitely a good day for quiet and rest. I really wish I could have stayed in bed a bit longer this morning! Enjoy the last clue of your MKAL. I’m looking forward to seeing what it looks like!
Congratulations on all that yardwork (and blooming forsythia)! I’m also patting myself on the back for multitasking with laundry and paying bills; laundry and knitting will happen later. We are awesomely talented! 🙂
Smokey just managed to get my car up the driveway hill through the 12″? 18″/ 120″? of snow we got this weekend ::sob:: Stop tormenting me with your forsythia in bloom 😉
Whoa – y’all worked hard (and on the weekend, too) – glad you had some time today to recuperate! I did get two loads of laundry done while I was knitting; but the folding hasn’t happened yet – can’t knit and fold at the same time 😉
I love the idea of using the phrase “multitasking” when doing laundry…we do lead a tough life, don’t we? Remind me to share my “rant” about doing the laundry, some day…
Love, love the forsythia…we needed some bright yellow today!
Cheers~
Y’know . . . we don’t even have BUDS on our forsythia yet????? And I’m a long, long way from doing any raking. So I’ll just CONTINUE to wait patiently . . . for a spring that is nowhere near around the corner. 🙂 I hope you had a restful Monday!
XO
We had horrendous winds that kept me indoors so I couldn’t get blown away. Today? Snow. (Just a bit.) I love days of multitasking and that feeling of accomplishment that comes from doing our domestic goddess jobs well.
**SOB** Trimming and raking seem like they’ll NEVER happen here!
