The luxury of having an indulgent morning is really quite lovely. It almost outweighs the condition of my hands and nails when August arrives each year. Yes, all the weeding, digging, cultivating, and watering are taking their toll on my hands and nails.
Sitting still while waiting for your nails to dry is saved from sheer boredom by the company of a wonderful book.
Happy Tuesday, everyone!
Pretty color!
I’ve been trying to keep my hands looking okayish by myself, but it’s not working very well. You are smart to have an indulgent morning with such a pretty color!
Nice little luxury!
🙂
I painted my nails this week, too. I’d been hankering after orange and pink and only realized afterwards that probably had something to do with my current shawl WIP.
I get a manicure every 2-3 weeks and in the summer I also get a pedicure. It’s a very nice little luxury!
My nails grow so fast that all I do is a clear coat. I have been thinking about a pedicure.
oooh, pretty color – please share its name! … for my next pedicure. I don’t do polish on my fingernails because I’m too darned impatient to wait for it to dry!
I tried to get into my manicurist today for a mani/pedi and they were on vacation! I ended up doing my own (sans color), too! I will say it’s a lovely way to spend a morning.
I wear gloves as much as possible to avoid the abuse and yet it’s not enough as I age. I’m imagining you sitting and reading and relaxing with the odor of nail polish fumes around you 🙂
That’s a really nice color! I’ve got myself a spanking new mani/pedi for vacation! (Are you headed to MI this summer?)
What a great idea. I treated myself to a mani/pedi after doing all the painting and packing. Now I’m sandal ready before the summer is completely over!
