Round and round and round, and the knitting grows. Slowly, but it does grow!
I also cast on Nymphalidea yesterday. I had a ball of Zauberball and some Lorna’s Lace sock yarn that are perfect for it. I have memorized the super easy pattern, and this will be come my “travel knit” as it is portable and simple. I also have a skein or two that would be beautiful for Close to You. Yes, holiday gift planning and knitting has begun!
Although, it is challenging to think of holiday knitting with this ghastly weather is it is NOT cooling as was forecast but, we did get some much-needed rain yesterday. So, there’s that. And, it seems there will more rain this weekend which means the chances are good that Operation Closet Organization will begin!
Now some knitting inspiration!
Staying in the Holiday Knitting mode… Sister From Another Mister “includes a colouring-in page so you can plan your perfect colour combos.”
Tuque Novembre also would be lovely in coordinating colors!
The next pattern in Core Wool 2018 is just gorgeous and might be my next cast on project: Etchplain
In the Stacks from Miss Babs Fall collection is also beautiful!
Remnants Shrug is interesting. Please note… it is a “recipe” only.
The sweater was strong again this week: Ingalls and Global Warming
Magnolia Mini is just adorable and has a great range of sizes!
And, finally… Scintillation! These look addictive! And, I love the warning!
That is all I have for this week! Have a great weekend and I will see you back here on Monday!
I want to knit all the woolly things now! So much inspiration in the new patterns popping up.
Your Tegna is gorgeous and I must knit some Scintillations! I’m a bit grumpy that we haven’t yet had the rain, cooler temps, and lower humidity that was forecast, but it looks like I just need to be more patient. Have a great closet-clearing weekend!
Those little stars are just awesome! We had a lot of rain yesterday and the humidity has dropped quite a bit, thankfully.
I hope your weather improves soon!!
I really want to knit up some of those stars!!! (And when I saw that “warning” label, I knew it was the pattern for me.) Have a great weekend. (I hope our cool weather is headed your way.)
Close to You is a great pattern. I have been considering making it also.
D.C. has cool weather and rain predicted for the weekend. I wish similar conditions for you!
Great ideas. Wow 7 plus dollars for the stars pattern. Pricey I say. But sweet stars
ooohhh Tegna is really coming along – the lace pattern is beautiful in that yarn! and … thank you for another great set of links 🙂 have a wonderful weekend, my friend!
So nice, knitty.com always gives good ideas such as the lovely ‘Nymphalidea shawl”. And scintillating stars are what I would knit next. Both are bookmarked for an opportune time.
Weather, well sooner or later it will give over to cooler times and we can get outside to knit and watch Mother Nature.
that is a beautiful ruby red maroon color!! I’m hoping to get back to knitting tomorrow! I’ve been busy with travels.
