It was such a full weekend… there was some closet cleaning, some sorting, and more closet cleaning and more sorting.
There was some football and there was also lots of cooking!
Cooler temps finally arrived!! Hello Chili! And, oven-roasted chicken! And, cake!
And, yes… there was rain. So.much.rain.
The rain is supposed to stop sometime today…but, even if it doesn’t this weather is almost perfect for knitting! A very good thing because I have some crazy knitty plans for this yarn!
I hope you had a great weekend and have an amazing Monday! What’s on your list today?
Thanks for the cake recipe! I’m a non- practicing Jew but I’ll celebrate with this cake. I think I have some distant relatives in Pittsburgh too.
Duck weather is perfect for knitting! Love the yarn colors and am looking forward to seeing what you make with it. Thank you for the link to the cake recipe.
My plan? Sit inside and knit all day. It is raining AGAIN!!!I sure could use some sunny days.
I hope dry weather is on the way… we had torrential rain & lots of flooding recently, but a nice stretch of temperate & dry followed. Work is on my list for today!
Damn, I forgot all about the closet cleaning I was going to do! I’ll have to put it on my list for a future weekend. Today is all about work. And a selectman’s meeting tonight.
Love the yarn colors. Am looking forward to what you’ll make with them.
We had rain last night which is lovely and means I won’t need to water today.
yikes – so much rain (and I’m guessing more on the way?!) … we are having mostly thunder here (there’s a shaking little schnauzer in my lap right now). but knitting is always good. and knitting with pretty little balls of colored wool is even better. Happy Monday!
We seem to finally be done with the rain. Good thing. Lost of folks were beginning to flood and suffer. Here comes the sun
And maybe some yarn winding? Our area enjoyed beautiful weekend days and a Monday. I wonder if Pa is getting all the rain we had earlier on the Great Plains? Enjoy.
We’ve had rain every day in September (7″ in NJ so far) and more to come with Florence. At least all that rain is good for something – closet cleaning and staying inside and knitting. Looking forward to seeing what you do with that yarn!
It really was the most perfect knitting weather this weekend. I got a lot done on my deadline project while I was curled up.
Rain. So good for sitting and knitting! Hope it dries up so you can enjoy being outside with these cooler temperatures. . .
(And I can’t wait to see what you’ve got planned for those yarns!) XO
There is no rain in the west. The East is keeping it all for itself. Please share!
