Are filled with persistence….like the last roses from my garden. These blooms have persisted despite few frosts! And, they are a good reminder to me… don’t give up – persistence wins!
P.S. I won’t be here tomorrow – I am putting in a 14.5-hour stint as a poll worker! PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE!! Really! Go say hello to your local poll worker! Maybe bring them a nice hot cuppa! I hope they will be way busier than they imagined, and they will appreciate it!
And, in case you need a few words of wisdom… Captain Sully has spoken! Yeah! Smile at everyone when you are at polls… people may be voting in unexpected ways!
Happy Monday everyone! See you all back here for Unraveled Wednesday!
You give me hope, Kat! Thanks for working at the polls and I am definitely voting!
Thanks for working – that 14.5 hours is more than generous.
I indeed am voting tomorrow at my local voting place, which is the small town fire station. I wanted to vote there (instead of ‘early voting’ at the larger county seat city) because it is so quaint, and I have never had a line to wait in, these last 15 years of living in rural TN.
Are you taking your knitting? Let’s hope you have a bit of time to knit.
Thank you in advance for your time at the polls tomorrow! I hope you are very busy all day!
My fingers are crossed for good outcomes tomorrow, I could use some hope right now. Have fun at the polls, I hope the day passes quickly for you.
I’ll be there making MY voice heard.
Thank you for working today! Looking forward to good outcomes!
Hope your (long) day goes well! Smith worked the polls for years, but they did away with most polling places and sent everyone in the county mail in ballots. 52% have been returned! Thank you for putting in the time and I hope everyone treats you with the respect you deserve!
I am there with you in spirit and appreciation. You have a very.long.day but your adrenalin will help you stay the course. Breathe deeply and rest a bit, when you can!
Cheers~
I voted!! I hope you have a great day today filled with kindness.
Thank you for serving!! we all voted
Thank you for volunteering at the polls. I will always be grateful that I have the opportunity and right to vote.
