Are grey and sloppy!
Yep, we got about 5 inches of very wet, sloppy snow over night and there is a lovely mixture of snow and rain falling this morning.
All this makes this Monday the perfect day to tackle a few projects that I have been putting off ignoring.
What does your Monday look like?
P.S. Shingles vaccine side effects fell in the “few to none” category, for which I am most grateful!
I will have another at home day. I hope to FaceTime with our tiny person. We haven’t seen him for almost 2 weeks between illness and snow.
Wow, you got a lot more snow than we did! I’d say we picked up maybe 2 inches, but it’s all melting and turning into slush now. It’s amazing how much variation there can be in a relatively small area! I hope you can stay in out of the mess today and be productive.
We have 5″ of powdery, beautiful snow. It does make the day a perfect one for getting stuff done!
We had some late-night snow but not enough to disrupt the normal workday. More to come, though!
Oh, the greyness! I hope you can fit in some knitting/spinning of bright colors. Knitting my purple Sockhead is diminishing some of the grey here (with more to come).
A tiny bit of snow, but it looks like the roads are clean.
I’m glad to hear you didn’t have any side effects. Good luck with your projects today!
Good to know that bad side effects of the shingles shot are not inevitable. I’ll be getting mine soon. Here in the northeast corner of MA, we have sun shining today, but 4-6 inches of snow likely starting tomorrow afternoon followed by sleet, freezing rain or rain- or maybe all of the above!
Snowy hills here, too, and they can’t decide whether it’s going to snow or rain. No school here again either. Glad you got your shingles shots; we did, too.
Good to read that your shingles shot was not a nuisance! Snow days are the best…if you don’t have to go out! Enjoy the rest of yours!
Cheers~
Starting the week with a day at home sounds productive. I love making real progress on Mondays – the rest of the week seems to go more smoothly.
so glad you had little if any side effects. We have snow and some sleet – supposedly rain will be arriving…so they say. It’s been a gloomy day here.
Hooray for no side effects of the shingles vaccine. Sometimes the gray of winter gets me down. I don’t mind the cold and I love snow but oh the gray. I hope your projects treat you well.
First I LOVE the photo-if we get any more rain here I’m going to build an ark! More is to come and we live very close to the Chattahoochee River so I’m expecting some roads to be flooded. I do however love those days that require you to be inside and finish what you started!
