I am happily joining Carole today to share three very good things in pictures from this week!
Thing One:
The weather has been perfect for keeping this glorious magnolia in my neighborhood just so… It is so full of blooms and must be so old because it is just massive – it is the biggest magnolia tree I have ever seen!
Thing Two:
All the seeds are sprouting! I am so happy – why even the seeds I sowed outside are sprouting!
Thing Three:
The quilting has begun! I have one place mat to go and my goal is for these to be on our table for happy hour tomorrow!
What about you? What is exciting you this week?
Cute future placemats!
My magnolia tree hasn’t bloomed in 2 years. Nothing so far this year, either. You’re a little south of me, so I’m not sure when to even look for blooms? And overnight? SNOW. Ugh.
That magnolia is magnificent! We’ve got one next door in MD, but no sign of blooming yet. I love seeing your tiny tomatoes and peppers. Seeds are also magical!
There was an enormous old magnolia tree a few houses down from us… heartbreakingly chopped a couple of years ago. Ugh. I hate my neighbors sometimes.
Um, EXCITING THINGS! I am excited about my daily stitching & daily PROGRESS!!
The magnolias in my neighborhood seemed to explode with blooms overnight. They are such a welcome sight!
Magnolia trees are SO gorgeous!
Magnolia trees around here are going crazy this year! Gorgeous blooms. Various things have started coming up in the garden (peas, onions) and tomatoes on the window sill. Won’t be long before the garden seems like a jungle – lol.
First of all, I LOVE your photos. Second of all I love the mysteries you recommend. I have a friend or two who love only mysteries so I will suggest them to them . Thanks!
Exciting me this week? My gran kitty is coming for a visit while Zach visits Al in OKC!
I am loving my shawl knitting.
Its national volunteer week and the Barn treated us so sweetly!
That magnolia is stunning! The placemats will be great and hooray for growing seedlings!
That magnolia is lovely. There are a few in Lincoln but they lead a hard life due to Nebraska winters and springs. Great placemats. I hope they are the start to a good happy hour.
That is a GORGEOUS magnolia! I can’t wait till they start blooming around here. Probably a few weeks yet, but getting closer every day!
We planted a magnolia when Dan was born – tried to move it to build a garage – came home and the excavator had buried it in the ground! 🙁 I love those place mats Kat!
three beautiful things!!!
Wow! those are three things that really bring a smile! (now off to see if there’s a follow-up FO for the placemats … quite intrigued!)
