May has felt unbelievably long to me – at times it has felt like it has been on pause with the days running into one another. While I know and am trying to remind myself that there have been plenty of very good May days they seem to have been drowned out by the very challenging days of unexpected expenses, arguments, and upsets.
As this month closes, it feels like it has been ages since I was in Michigan – so, I am sending May out the door with a pictorial reminder of just how wonderfully it started:
Have a great weekend and I will see you back here on Monday!
P.S. A dear reader shared the most wonderful link with me this week which is perfectly timed to help us start PRIDE month. I did not know that 73% of the LGBTQ community have been harassed online due to their sexual orientation/gender identity. If you want to share this link with friends, please feel free to do so! No one should feel at risk or harassed ever.
Agreed – no one should be harassed.
And, there was a lot of blue in your May!
I agree too and love seeing all your pictures. Have a great weekend!
It does seem like a long time ago that you were on vacation in MI, so those beautiful photos are an excellent reminder. Love all the shades of blue and Genevieve!
Salt Lake has one of the largest Pride Parades in the country (and had one of the first!). We had the honor of watching some of it in the planning stages as they meet in the coffee shop where we have SnB. Look at the sweet face of Genevieve! Her smile could keep you going through thick and thin!
It’s amazing how one month can simultaneously seem long and short. I feel like May flew by but also lasted forever! You clearly crammed a lot into it!
I know…5/31. How did that happen? You’ve got some wonderful memories to re-visit in those pictures Kat! Here’s to June my friend.
I always feel like that when I look back on months as a whole. I guess it’s really important to document the good times to remind us of them…
73%? So many? That’s ridiculous! You’re right, no one should feel harassed or at risk ever. I never knew it was still such a big problem.
Pure Michigan! 🙂
(I think Genevieve looks a bit like her Grandma!)
Here’s to good memories of May . . . and new possibilities for June!
XO
And . . . NO ONE SHOULD BE HARRASSED. Thanks for sharing the link.
What was up with May, anyway?! I feel like it was a cursed month…and it seemed to spread its ickiness around. But those pics of the pie, pug, and adorable blond curls…hopefully they were a balm. Here’s to June!!
I think May felt so long because sunshine was so rare! But here comes JUNE – my favorite month!
May looked wonderful! Hope June is as well. Thank you for the link to that article.
May went quickly for me, much too quickly! I cannot believe we are in June. I love seeing your photos of your family trip and all that you did. Bittersweet!
May flew by in a flash. The photos of your Michigan trip are lovely. I am sure you hold all the memories in your heart. On to June.
What a wonderful collage, Kat! …and thank you for the link (I learned a few things reading it, too). Here’s to June!!
Genevieve is a cutie and for sure, looks like her grandma. Love the photos – what program is that?
Looks like you had a great visit. WElcome back!
Cheers~
Thank you, Honore! I use the Collect app to gather photos every month.
