July was a tough month for me but in looking back, I am happy to see some very good things despite it being such a challenge! July 3rd might be my favorite picture of the whole month though! That single pierced ear has brought lots of laughter! (although a freshly washed and fluffy Sherman on the 13th is not bad either!) Though there was lots of rain (as you can see in the video below) the skies were so amazing in July – so many clouds!
Now for the video – my plan was to get 31 days of walking, but you all know that did not happen. I had hoped to maybe be back walking in August, but today that seems very unlikely…and yes, my frustration is growing! I got video all but one day – but I did take a photo of my new Birks so I inserted that in place of the missing video! I also managed to capture the elusive Hummingbird Moth along with so many bees and butterflies!
I am so sorry about your injury. I have been there and it is not easy. Hang in there
Loved your video (but gosh – so MUCH rain!!). Yes, I am sorry about your injury, but do take it easy…do NOT re-injure!!! The one little pierced ear is just too darn cute (is it still only one?).
I enjoyed looking back over your July in photos and video! I had forgotten what a rainy month it was, but you still managed plenty of flower and interesting sky pictures. Here’s to a great August, Kat!
Please give Sherman a million kisses from me.
I understand your frustration with the ankle injury. Mine just took forever to improve . . . and then, all of a sudden, it was better. I’m hoping you’re back to regular (and comfortable) walking soon! XO
Your video shows such a nice variety of butterflies and bumblebees! And wow, lots of rain. Here’s to an August that is better for you!
You made good strides (pun not intended!) with your walking — remember to take it slow as you recover from that injury! I love all the video of the pollen-covered bees.
Wonderful photos and video! Love the juxtaposition of your feet walking and all the flowers, bees, butterflies, etc. Was that a walking foot on your machine? (Just teasin’)… I need to learn that 1 SE app…aha: a project for the month?
Walk on !
Cheers~
Please update us…still one ear? Babies always make my day!
Great photos and even better video. I admire your photography skills. The contrast between the rain and the insects and flowers is very artist. Hang in there with that ankle. It will eventually heal, I know it.
Oops that would be artistic.
How long do you think it’ll be before that second ear is pierced??? haha!
