Waning summer days
mean heavy laden branches
with dew covered gems
I have been amazed at the volume of raspberries I have picked this year! And, this weekend’s harvest will soon be transformed into lovely little jars of jam!
And that is not a bad way to spend a Monday at all!
Those are beautiful raspberries, a lovely haiku, and great macro shots! Happy Jam Day!
I agree completely with what Bonny said. Enjoy your delicious day Kat!
this is the prettiest picture yet!
but I cant imagine making jam in this heat. you might consider freezing berries (after measuring how much you need for each batch of jam) and then pulling out the frozen berries on a cool day. my kids used to love love when I made jam in the winter and served it up with bread fresh from the oven.
Mmmm. Raspberries are one of my all-time favorite fruits!! Lovely photos.
They look so tempting! I hope you can stay cool and comfortable while you make your jam.
Lovely raspberries, Kat!
Gorgeous shot Kat!
Yum! Great shot and love the Haiku! Brilliant!
Cheers~
