…feels like a Friday! Yes, Steve has Tuesday and Wednesday off again this week.
Sometimes Monday can also feel like spring! Yes, it is a wildly windy and rainy 60°F!
Sometimes Monday means putting away Christmas!
Sometimes Monday is for debating – which camp do you fall into? (FYI, I am in the minority camp)
Sometimes Monday is for thinking about goals! I am contemplating my reading and making goals for 2020 (is anyone contemplating 20 in 2020?)
What does your Monday look like?
I am working on updating my Goodreads list with a 2020 shelf and I love the idea of 20 in 2020.
I love the idea of 20 in 20…You’ve got lots going on Kat! Enjoy the next few days!
I like to think of the decade having all the same starting-digit, so I go with the 2020-2029 way of thinking. But . . . in the end . . .10 years is 10 years, no matter when you slice it! 😉
I’m working on my goals for the upcoming year, too . . . but I’m trying to get away from the forced-quantity construct of the whole 20 for 2020 thing (even though that has such a nice ring to it). I’ll probably set up a numeric book goal on Goodreads (because I like watching the tracker through the year), even though I’m not big on quantity-based reading goals, either.
Enjoy your extended days off! A week with extra Fridays is such a gift!
I’m planning a 20 in 2020 in terms of knitting and spinning, but I hadn’t thought of it in terms of reading! I’m sure it will be no problem for me given how many books I got through this year; the hardest part will be reading 20 really good books!
Extra Fridays means extra Friday night-type snacks (and yours are the best)! My Monday looks like shots of peanut butter whiskey (it’s far better than it sounds)!
I am so with you on that card about putting away Christmas decorations! Our Monday was taken up with car shopping. Ugh – but it has to be done. Tomorrow I will undeck the halls.
For me, the main difference between putting the decorations out and putting them away is that I actually enjoy the putting out process, but the putting away is only fun once it’s all done (and actually, the enjoyment I get from the de-frocked house is pretty good!) I’m still working through 2019 and not quite ready to start 2020 (whether it’s a new decade or not 😉
I didn’t ever realize the decade was coming to a close until people started talking about it. Was it really 10 years ago that we were all freaking out about Y2K?! Happy New Year to you and yours.
