Brings sunshine on slender green stems!
Our wintry blast from last week has been ushered out by warming temps and lots of rain. The robins seem most gleeful as they hop around in the back yard.
It was a quiet weekend here, and sometimes that is exactly what was needed. Curiously my week’s list is not overly full, so I added a much needed “pantry clean out” to it. Now, that does not necessarily mean it will get done – this task has been added to numerous lists and yet it remains undone…
I hope your lists are all in order! Happy Monday everyone!
A pantry clean out sounds like a good idea. Karen (Pumpkin Sunrise) mentioned taking an inventory of food in her house. I need to do that as I’m always forgetting something that is buried in the freezer or at the back of a shelf! This rain!!! I can’t believe we are having it ALL week.
We had a slight infestation of robins over the weekend; they swarmed our holly bushes (trees?) to eat all the berries after the snowstorm, I suppose because they couldn’t get to the worms in the ground. They may be the only ones enjoying the wet weather we’re having today!
Thanks for sharing the cheer that is your bundle of daffodils today!
Oh my gosh!? Daffs are in the stores?! This tells me I have not grocery shopped in a Long. Time.
Thanks for the (glorious) push 🙂
Those daffodils! I saw lots of robins in NJ, and the back yard in MD is full of them. I love watching them listen for worms.
I’m so lazy right now I’m not even making lists. I feel like all I’ve got in me right now is getting to work and back home (to do nothing). Man we need some sunshine around here! 🙂 Maybe I just need some daffodils…they certainly are cheerful!
Beautiful daffodils! I saw robins yesterday and they filled me with hope.
I am gloriously playing catch up today after a busy weekend. I am nearly done with what I wanted to do so that’s good. Love your bright bouquet!
Those daffodils are such a ray of sunshine! Good luck with your pantry. I just promised Marc THREE hours of kon-maring tomorrow. his choice for whatever (I hope I don’t end up regretting this early valentine 😉
Oh those daffodils. My week is in order. I’ve had to scale back my expectations as I mend this right upper back and shoulder area. I’m trying to look at it as an opportunity to rest and reset and then I look at the dust on the end tables. I’m glad your list is feeling quite reasonable.
Those daffodils are beautiful! I love buying daffodil stems at the grocery store — I guess I should start looking out for them again 🙂
Enjoy watching your robins! They haven’t returned to my neck of the woods yet – have I mentioned that I’m ready for spring?
Have a great week!
I have not done well with weekly list making and it is starting to show so I better get back to it.
I have yet to see a robin . . . and our daffodils are still below ground . . . so it’s nice to hear/see that yours are making an appearance! XO
Our weather the last 7 days have been totally crazy! Thank goodness there is plenty of cardigans, pullovers, wraps in my closet so I can dress accordingly.
