Greetings, gentle readers!
I am joining with Carole and Friends with a quick and feverish update on the rage that is taking over Blogdom thanks to our Fearless Leader: Vicki!
Thing One:
Every time I think of Nightshift this pops into my head…
Sorry, not sorry for that earworm gentle readers!
Thing Two:
There is a Nightshift KAL Group! Whew… I needed that! (also, Vicki did some AWESOME images for you to use, you can find them here!)
Thing Three:
My yarn choices….
::drum roll please::

Ta-da! Six skeins of hand spun yarn (yes, six – two are on the “light side”) and I think they all work beautifully together…yes?
I was going to ply two of the skeins a bit more, but you know what? I think they will be fine just the way they are!
Casting on in 3…2..1…
My brain is fuzzy enough that I have Bob Seger’s Night Moves in my head when I think about the Nightshift shawl! Thanks for correcting that. 🙂 Your yarns are absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to see them in action!
That’s funny! What I think of is, ” I’m an idea man, Chuck, idea – edible paper.” I loved that movie. I think your yarn is beautiful, and it will be beautiful in the shawl.
That is going to be a gorgeous Nightshift! Love those yarns (and they all play very nicely together!!). I am not joining in, but I will be the group’s cheerleader! LOL I had not thought of The Commodores in decades!!!
Fearless leader… Haha!
I LOVE THAT SONG! I think we have an official KAL song! 🙂
I also LOVE YOUR YARN! That’s going to be amazing! I can’t wait to watch as it progresses.
Great idea to use your handspun!
Such beautiful skeins ! ( I adore the one on the right ). That will surely make a lovely Nightshift.
I can’t wait to see how your Nightshift comes along! Gorgeous yarn – it’s going to be amazing!
Your Nightshift is going to be absolutely stunning! I think handspun is perfect for the pattern, and the skeins you’ve selected are gorgeous!
what a gorgeous array of colors! now to see what the nightshift is….
Great song, Kat! And great yarn choices, too. I can’t wait to see all the Night Shift shawls fly off the needles! XO
OMG-thanks for the earworm. I’m inspired to get to the task of transferring music from my computer to my very old ipod so I can have tunes like this at work. This what I like to listen to when the top is down. The colors together are going to be stunning!
Yes they go together so fabulously well! This is going to be a beautiful Night Shift.
oh YAY!!! this is gonna be so much fun to watch and WOW!! six skeins of handspun. all at work in a single project. I’m in awe.
