Greetings, Unravelers!
I am on Tiny Sleeve Island! Round and round and round I go! Ā I love the little stripes on the sleeves, and the rhythm of decreasing is perfect! By this time next week… a sweater should be finished! Yes, it will be a bit big, but I don’t think it will be for long! Winston is sleeping like a trooper and eating like one too! (Sorry, no new photos this week…)
Once I have departed from Tiny Sleeve Island, I am back to Big Sleeve Island to finish my Ranunculus! (and I am pretty sure I will get some good use out of it because we are back in the upper 80’s to 90’s here… ugh.)
I only one finished book this week, but it was so good!
The Chessmen: The Lewis Trilogy #03 by Peter May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
What an excellent ending to this trilogy! We find Fin settling into life on Lewis, and while he is entangled in a mystery, he is still trying to untangle the past. This book ties up some loose ends and gives us some idea of Fin’s future. Excellent writing and I highly recommend this series!
I am close on two others, but I am still working on how to fit them into my bingo card!
I sure hope you have all been way more productive than me! So… wow me, what are you happy about this week?!
As always, if you wrote a post to share, please leave your link below and thank you!
That Leland Sweater is cuter than I could have imagined! I love it! I’m glad the book you finished this week was so good and I’ve added that trilogy to my TBR. Thank you for introducing it to me!
Oh my gosh, I love the colours on that sweater – just gorgeous!
What a darling little sweater! The colors are just perfect — and the stripes are such fun! š
OMGosh! That tiny sweater is absolutely adorable!!! SO. CUTE.
The sweater is so adorable! The colors are great, and I’m sure even if it is a bit big on that baby, he’s going to be impossibly cute in it.
Oh, I love those stripes!! And Iām all for a slightly big sweater…anything to squeeze in as much wear time as possible.
I love knitting children sweaters! They are fast and satisfying, not to mention little knits make me smile! And that is what your sweater did for me this morning when I opened your blog. The sweater is wonderful and the strips over the moon.
I really enjoyed that trilogy. A question about your stripes. Are you carrying the yarn up the edge? The thought of weaving in ends keeps me from stripes.
That sweater and those colors are wonderful! I’m happy that we’ll get to see Winston wearing it eventually. As for wowing you with what has made me happy this week, I don’t have much, but reading Hamnet is probably the biggest thing. And I found a bottle of wine that I didn’t know I had!
That sweater is gorgeous the colours are wonderful. I am happy that we finally have some heat and sunshine after our really cold spell. The garden is happy too!
that sweater is ADORABLE…..what pattern were you using again? I know. I know….I could scroll through and find it, but everything about this is perfect…great colours, and looks like a good weight. Very very cute!
That little sweater is absolutely adorable! I love the colors you chose.
That sweater is so sweet and lovely! I love how you changed the striping pattern on the sleeves.
oh my goodness. tiny sleeve island is so CUTE I can’t believe you want to leave š
The little sleeve island is so sweet. And yes make those baby knits roomy. They grow so fast. Air conditioning and fresh tomatoes are making me very happy this week.
you sound happy on sleeve island! I don’t mind sleeves at all š Lovely colors in your knitting!!
Holy cow that Leland is adorable! The colors are great.
