can have some residual weekend frustration….
Properly practiced, knitting soothes the troubled spirit, and it doesn’t hurt the untroubled spirit either.

Thrice now, in the course of My Great Cabled Sweater Knit I have stumbled across some less than clear directions in the pattern as well as some significant errors with parts that have left my spirit troubled. (yes, I have messaged the designer but have heard nothing at all about my question.) I wish there was an EZ quote for Improperly practiced knitting… because it would have been most fitting for me this weekend!
Good thing the Bread Gods were in the house!
Your bread looks beautiful and I can almost smell it from here. I’m sure your sweater is equally beautiful but I wish you could knit it without frustration!
That’s such a gorgeous loaf! I’m glad you were able to buoy your spirits with your baking 🙂 I know the knitting frustration was no fun!! I hope the knitting pattern gets cleared up soon so that you can forge ahead!
Boule as balm…I hope! It’s a beautiful one, for sure. Wishing you resolution with the pattern woes. No fun at all. I’m sure you’ve already tried all the other places for notes and comments on that pattern… Hopefully you’ll get a response that allows you to proceed–and soon.
Sorry about your sweater woes Kat. That is so frustrating. BUT, your bread looks marvelous!!! I bet your house smelled so good while that was baking.
I am sorry about the knitting frustrations but, wow, that loaf! I certainly hope you dug into it after taking the photo!
What a gorgeous loaf!!!
Your bread looks beautiful and delicious. Pattern errors are just not fun at all. May the problems be resolved soon. In the meantime, I suggest coffee and chocolate.
I’m sorry your knitting has been frustrating but I hope that delicious looking bread took away some of the sting!
The Christmas bake looks delicious. Shame about the knitting pattern, so frustrating for you.
