needs a bit of humor…
Yes, we have departed the Fool’s Spring and have arrived at the Second Winter portion of February. Sigh. The snow onslaught begins overnight…
Staying in the Land of Humor… I finished the seaming of the sweater. It might be a trifle big… okay, more than a trifle… more like the Entire Box of Chocolates Big. I am debating in my head the options for said sweater. Stay tuned.
See you all back here on Wednesday where there will likely be LOTS of unraveling!
I knew we were in Fool’s Spring, but now I’m afraid to look at weather. Initial forecasts called for 1.5″ but now we’re up to 8-10″! I am very sorry about the Disappointment of the Sweater, and hope you figure out a not-too-painful option.
Oh no! so sorry about the bigness. What a disappointment. I’m not sure what we are going to get here…according to what I see it looks like mostly rain and maybe some flurries overnight…but you know you cannot trust the forecasts at all!
Might want to wait on unraveling that sweater. Pile on the extras! Snow is coming ……don’t know how much or exactly when, but layers might be necessary.
We are getting that storm tomorrow and I’m hoping for a snow day!
I sincerely hope you find a solution for your sweater. The knitting is so beautiful. I think we have a few more false spring days before the temperature drops again. So goes the month of February.
I wish we were in third winter by now! Sorry to hear about the sleeve. I hope you’re able to come up with a solution!
That seasonal “listing” certainly holds true for us here in Michigan, too. (Some years more than others . . . ) I hope the snow comes and goes quickly (as it usually does during both the Second and Third Winters). But I REALLY hope the sweater can be dealt with in a satisfactory manner. . .
What?! Oh, Kat. I’m having small palpitations. (But I think that’s my glass of wine I just finished.) Still. I hope in the next day or so a manageable solution comes forward. We’ll be tuning in.
(You sound in good spirits, though? So — hopefully manageable.)
xo
You are so right about the seasons. Hope the snow isn’t too dastardly. Oh no re the size issue, not Good at all.
Caught up! We have a similar run of “seasons” in Wisconsin… except this year is completely out of whack.
