Is about how much time isn’t left….
I am very much feeling the fleeting time of the days as they race past me. They are moving at Usian Bolt speed… I blink and the day is over.
Then I look at the calendar and count that there are only 6 weeks left in the year and I realize that the days have been racing by much longer than I have been aware.
I made a list of all the things I need to finish this year… and it’s So Full. (Yes, absolutely too full…)
Perhaps this post will be a gentle urgent reminder for you… time is flying! Do you have a list? If not… should you?
See you all back here on Wednesday!
I don’t have a list, but you making me aware that there are only six weeks left in the year was eye-opening! Even though I’ve simplified Thanksgiving and Christmas (and anything else that I can) that doesn’t mean that there aren’t things I want to get done. So yes, maybe a list is needed, and maybe I’ll start on that today!
Crikey! Don’t know I dare make a list of everything! But I do have a monthly list which I write at the end of the previous month. I know I was shocked this morning to realise half of November has already gone. Good luck with your plans.
The days are certainly flying by, that’s for sure (and let’s hope the next 4 years do the same). I don’t have a list (but probably should) and really, I just find myself anxiously awaiting the arrival of the baby!! I do need to settle down and get some “things” done.
We have a HUGE list of random stuff that needs to be done — all the things, big or small. I cleaned the oven over the weekend but haven’t crossed it off yet! The time really is sailing by…
I did some (online) holiday shopping this weekend, and my Thanksgiving cooking can’t be done too early, but there’s still some crafting to be done before the end of the year — and of course books I want to read!
No list making for me these days, I feel like I’m in recovery mode from all of the lists my renovation project involved!
No lists made these days – apart from what to pick up at the supermarket….lists are for really busy people and a quick glance at the calendar tells me where I have to be at what time (as long as it’s noted)
Once the days are recorded in double digits I do tend to wonder where they went to but the thought of all those others stretching ahead puts a smile on my face.
The days are flying. I really need to get going on my Christmas gift shopping. While I do much less, most of my gifts need to be mailed. Uour reminder to make a list is very timely.
I always have a list going . . . but don’t always get all the items done. Oh, well. This has seemed like a really weird month – in many ways, for sure, but mostly in the passage of time department. (It is time I start paying more attention to my list . . . )
Oh you’re feeling the same way I am. At least we can find comfort in that! I have a list taller than me, which isn’t hard but the first thing on my list is finding a roll off dumpster near me so I can get my mother moved in to our house as her health is declining. I hope you can get through your list, I know you can. You got this!
