To appreciate the beauty of a snowflake it is necessary to stand out in the cold. — Aristotle
The temperatures outside are absolutely telling me it is winter, but the beauty of snowflakes falling almost all day on Saturday were the greatest delight! They changed from little snow pellets to the most perfect lacy flakes.
Although taking Frankie out at 2:40AM in my pajamas and a coat with temperatures a whopping 17°F is cold no matter what is falling from the sky.
Perhaps it is all about perspective… and that my friends is what I am focused on this week! Perspective… and keeping it real!
Also… taking Kym’s son-in-law’s sage advice from his toast yesterday to heart… I am going to practice being kind to myself this week!
I will be back next Monday with my word wrap up! Have the happiest of holidays, dear friends!
I hope you, Steve, and Frankie enjoy a very Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Kat!!
Oof! Those late night potty-times are really tough this time of year. Hang in there!
I hope you have a very merry Christmas!
We somehow managed to leave just ahead of the serious snow on Saturday, but we had some beautiful flurries as we were loading up the car. I hope it warms up a bit for those middle-of-the-night potty breaks! Enjoy the rest of the week. Merry Christmas, Kat!
Merry Christmas Kat! The temps are brutal and I do not envy your middle of the night trips to the great outside with Frankie. We still have a bit of snow on the ground from Friday thanks to our frigid temps and more snow showers are expected tomorrow morning!!
Merry Christmas Kat, Steve, and Frankie!!!
Have a wonderful holiday, Kat!!
Happy Christmas to you and Steve and Frankie. May you all be warm and toasty.
I hope you had a Happy Christmas and enjoy the rest of this holiday.
Happy day after Christmas. Looking forward to hearing your word wrap up.
Have a gentle week off.
