Greetings everyone,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. The weather was perfect here in my neighborhood… cool mornings that invited one to pull on a sweater easing into warm afternoons… a celebration of perfect spring days!
I let Steve know that we are “opening the porch” next weekend. He was not thrilled!
Now it is Monday and I am contemplating my week (besides opening the porch, lol) I started PT for my bladder issues before we left for vacation and had my second visit last week. I am sort of feeling a bit silly… my therapist has me doing a bit of a yoga routine coupled with some diaphragm breathing exercises. Perhaps if I had just continued with pilates, I might not even be having these issues but I am carving out time each day to do the routine.
I also spent some time contemplating my “Stitch Book” layout. I also tested out raw edged pages and decided that won’t work … or at least I don’t like how it will look, so I will be doing some sewing to assemble the pages together.
And with that, let the week begin! See you all back here on Wednesday!

It was a lovely spring weekend here, with the weather just right (aside from too much pollen). I hope you have fun sewing on your stitch book. The stitching is great so I’m sure it will be impressive however you assemble it. I don’t think you should feel silly about PT. It may take a while but hopefully it is all helpful. Happy Monday!
The weather was indeed (finally) lovely all weekend. Have fun working on your stitch book – I’m looking forward to seeing the end result. Definitely porch time!! And good for you going to PT (and do NOT feel silly).
It was a bit chilly on Saturday morning, but the sun was warm, so I didn’t mind as much (it’s amazing how different 40ºF can feel in May versus February!). I think we need to get our porch ready so we can start having meals outside. I hope that for all you feel silly with the PT, it does what you need it to.
I would love to have a porch for the weather we’ve been having here! My aunt calls her back deck ‘the bistro’, which I find utterly charming 😊
I think there’s just something about PT that can feel awkward or silly but I applaud you for sticking to it. The experts know what they are doing and we need to remember that.
On to porch weather and a few meals outdoors. We have to take advantage of a window of time for that before it gets too bloody hot. I hope the PT does for you what you need it to. Good for you for giving it a try.
don’t feel silly, it’s medically necessary and it will help you. I am grateful for all the medical people who know more than I do even though I believe I know more than them (ahem). May you continue to improve!!!
