Brings the NO’s!
Yes, I realize I live under a rock and am unaware of so many things going on around me… so many things. And I honestly wish it was so many more things… sigh. (News… I am looking at you here!)
Anyways, two things crossed my radar recently and to say I was shocked was an understatement. So yes, I guess I am still capable of being stunned by “advances” that should not ever be “a thing.”
First… did you all know about IG for TV? I have ZERO desire to watch IG on my television… ever. This brings doom scrolling to a new level of pain. Who on earth thought THAT would be a good idea! Just NO! (Yes, we have a Google TV, sigh, and it is inundated with ads to install it!)
Second… Dunkin’ Dirty Soda… say what? Pepsi™ mixed with “creamy coffee milk (that is not brewed coffee but rather coffee extract) and velvety cold foam.” What the hell? Umm, absolutely no… never… ever!!
On a brighter note… I’d like to say a resounding YES to Adrian Bell. I just finished A Countryman’s Spring Notebook and gosh… I want more! So much more! I know he has other notebooks and I am on a mission to find them!!

I had to laugh at IG for TV! I know I’m far outside the intended demographic, but that’s fine because I won’t be watching. I don’t go to DD very often so there’s very little chance that I’ll be drinking some sort of coffee abomination. Remember Starbucks coffee with olive oil a few years ago? Companies will do almost anything to try and sell more crap. Here’s to a week full of yes!
I haven’t heard of IG for TV, either, nor do I feel any need for it! My daughter only just informed me of what a dirty soda is, too, and I’ll pass on that as well. Let’s say yes to only good things this week!
I have heard of both of those things and I’m not interested in either but if it works for someone else that’s okay with me.
Oh dear – Dunkin has reached a new low. As for IG for TV – never heard of it and have no desire to watch it. As for Adrian Bell, I’m off to find out more.
I’ve heard of IG for TV but have never… and won’t. I found out that I can have IG on the display in my car, though I don’t utilize that feature, either. 🙂 There is a little something appealing to me about that Dunkin’ Dirty Soda — from a girl who, when she used to take her coffee w/cream & sugar, loved when it got cold, and I could see a splash of cola in there, but no thanks to the foam. haha.
I have never heard of Adrian Bell but I like the sounds of him. I do not drink Dunkin but I wish I was the type that did!!
