This morning, sunrise here in the South Hills of Pittsburgh was at 7am… sigh… and the early mornings ambling about with Frankie are mostly quiet. In the evening there is a Cricket Chorus that serenades us, but the mornings are fairly quiet.
My list today includes pulling out some autumn-esque decorations…and hanging the sheets on the line! I am quite happy about the dichotomy of those things!
I hope your list has a variety of things as well! I will see you back here on Wednesday!

Want to trade lists? Yours sounds better than mine since it includes paying taxes and vacuuming. But I’m also planning on making meatloaf since we’ve got lovely weather and I can stand to have the oven on for an hour. Enjoy your Monday!
The light may be diminishing a bit, but today I am relishing the cooler temps. I’m reading the Fall section of Local Wonders and thoroughly enjoying it – thanks again for mentioning this book! I hope your Monday is a good one. I’ve got some laundry to do as well and I may hang it out (or not…as the lawn mowing guys may show up).
Today really feels like a fall day — and it’s a real shame it’s not going to last! I’ve really been noticing the later sunrise/earlier sunset in the past few days, and I’ve been having to take my pocket flashlight with me on the first and last potty breaks of the day. Somehow I wouldn’t mind so much if it didn’t still feel so much like summer!
Yep, and it’s getting dark super early!! I’m ready for cooler temps… but not yet for real shoes. haha.
It was only 47 degrees here this morning when I woke up . . . and dark, too! It seems to be Suddenly Fall. I’m not quite ready for it, but also . . . kinda ready for it. I hope you had a lovely day, Kat.
I have been loving the darkness! I am a weird one though. Yesterday I walked at 7:30 am and it was chilly. I’m all in. I know the hot weather will be back but it tends to be more fleeting.
