We have some much-needed rain in the forecast today – the skies are cloudy and it smells like rain.
It’s the perfect day to make a batch of Salsa Verde and a jar of Sweet Pickles.

And…by week’s end I think I will have enough little tomatoes to make a batch of Roasted Cherry Tomatoes.
The only other thing on my agenda today is a wee bit of letter writing!
What’s on your agenda today?
Hmmm based on the email I just got from my husband…find paint, mail something I’ve been holding on to (cuz I drag my feet), and decide where I want to kayak this weekend! Pushy huh? 😉 I’ll bet that salsa verde is delicious!
The slow roasted cherry tomatoes sound (and look) amazing! Rain, rain, how we need rain. Three or four more days of 100+ and then we might be in for a cool down. My goal for this weekend is to read (although that may not happen) and write a few letters, too.
Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous!! photos!
Both recipes sound wonderful. Another good way to have cherry tomatoes: mixt a little EVOO and honey together…toss with tomatoes and roast till they split. Yummy!! Thunderstorms have rolled into Eastern PA this afternoon…we desperately need the rain.
Oh. Salsa verde. Yummmm. I have many things on my agenda for today. Unfortunately, I think I’m just going to ignore them and keep reading. . .
All three recipes sound wonderful! I pinned all three. I’ve been looking for a salsa verde recipe.
