Greetings Unravelers!
It has been quite the week here with the continuation of cold and snowy weather. I might almost think I am back in Michigan!
Fortunately, all this cold makes it easy to knit sweaters! And, knit I have! I am moving along nicely with my Stopover. Sleeve one is well underway (and much farther than the above image shows) and sleeve two will be soon to follow!
Add to all this much improved reading this past week and you have the makings of a practically perfect week!
I finished The Last Tudor, and gave it 4-stars.
I started listening to The Orphan’s Tale and I am about half way through. So far, it is wonderful!
I am reading Lie With Me, which I got an ARC from Netgalley. So far, I am finding it very hard to connect the dots in the story, but I am hoping that clears up soon!
I have some very good things coming up:
Louise Penny’s A Trick of the Light and Imbolo Mbue’s Behold the Dreamers!
What are you making and reading this week? Please leave your link if you are participating today!
Thank you!
I love the colors of your Stopover. Not only will it be warm and toasty to wear, but it will also be cheery and make you think of brighter, spring days. XO
Your Stopover colors are just perfect, and one of my favorite color combinations. You’re not by any chance knitting this for me, are you? š http://highlyreasonable.blogspot.com/2018/01/unraveled-wednesday_17.html
Third vote of Yay for your Stopover colors-beautiful!
I love the colors of your stopover sweater! Enjoy your knitting and reading!
Your Stopover looks like it’s going to be so warm and cuddly and I love the color combination. Those are very ‘me’ colors. I’ve been thinking about reading The Last Tudor. Glad to know you enjoyed it.

I’m reading a gamache (no.4) and loving it immensely and started Gilead (love love!) so I’m happy in my reading life. I am also happy knitting the never ending sweater and mitts.
Stopover’s colors are perfect for this wintry weather we keep having…and it’s not even February/March, yet!
I have at least a half dozen books in various stages… still reading Louise Penny’s #4 and Sing, Unburied Sing in the fiction category…today looks like a good day to read (listen) to more of Sing…
Cheers~
Oops; I hit submit too soon! My post is at : http://honorefrancois.typepad.com/morning_glory_studio/2018/01/unraveled-wednesday-snow-day-.html
What a lovely blue! It’s similar to a blue in my current rainbow sock wip! http://www.nutmegknitter.com/socks-speculation/
It really is the perfect weather to stay inside and knit sweaters. I really must get a sweater on the needles soon!
Knitting and reading our hand in hand hobbies! Your Stopover is going to be fabulous and I agree with Bonny that you could be knitting it for ME! lol

This current sweater is going to be beautiful. I love the color combination and the little colorwork detail around the wrist and hem.
In spite of a poor internet connection, I have a link. Off to reboot the router in hopes it fixes the problem.

You’re so fast knitting all these sweaters! I love the colors you chose.
I’m just knitting hats these days.

A new project and a new book for me this week!

Your stopover sweater sleeve looks great so far! Sounds like you have been getting a lot of reading done. I am hoping to incorporate more audiobooks into my life and I currently have one on hold from the library. I am looking forward to being able to knit and “read” at the same time. Hope you enjoy your next reads!

Beautiful work on your lovely Stopover. I love the colors! Here’s my post today. I envy your snow. We have very cold weather here on the Front Range in Colorado (we’re on the dry side of the Rocky Mountains), but no snow and almost none all winter! http://lovelyyarnescapes.blogspot.com/2018/01/wednesdays-yarns.html
That sweater is going to be lovely
Here is my Unraveled Wednesday

I’ve heard good things about Behold the Dreamers. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

…and Atlanta is feeling like Pittsburgh! at least it’s all good for sweaters. and knitting sweaters. and listening to books. I started Isabelle Allende’s In the Midst of Winter yesterday. appropriate, no?!
I’m knitting my Vintage Fairy Lights socks.
Reading is Autumn by Ali Smith.
I just started listening to The Book of Joy by the Dalai Lama and Bishop Desmond Tutu. Amazingly, I am enjoying it and thinking about what they are saying. I despise self-help books and woo-woo thinking with the heat of a thousand suns. So this book is a happy — dare I say joyous? — surprise.
