In the face of the senseless tragedy, the words of Mr. Rogers echo in my mind, “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'”
Be a helper to those around you today.

Manhattan’s have become a thing on Friday nights. A very good thing! Perfect even…

I have been practicing continental knitting on a pair of “knit stitch” only slippers. Bonus in that there are SSK’s, K2Tog’s, and CCD’s! Now I just need to get slipper #2 done!

Apple explosion means that there are crumbles, crisps, and sauce production are happening.

Rejseholdet fylder mine dage, tak. Or, Danish Television’s Unit One is all I want to watch now. It is crime television at its best! Really, you need to watch this! Bonus educational points for learning bits of Danish as I watch!

There should be sewing, knitting, and spinning going on but all I want to do is weave. Sadly, due to the volume of apples in my house none are likely to happen this weekend.

I have choir parts to learn for a Christmas Concert at my church so perhaps singing and weaving will be a thing this weekend.

However, in reality, it will be singing and cooking, lots of cooking. If you need me, I will be in the kitchen, up to my neck in apples!

Happy Saturday, Gentle Reader!
