Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into. ~ Wayne Dyer
In my ongoing attempts to increase my daily gratitude I have really honed in on being aware of the abundance that is everywhere, but especially that abundance that is around me.

Some days that is incredibly easy – when I walk out to my garden and I am surrounded by a bumper crop of tomatoes, peppers, and beans. Then there are the onions that appear to be doing well and the potatoes that seem to be flourishing in their containers. I am stunned also with the fact that all four eggplants have baby eggplants growing on them, and they just don’t seem to be ready to stop blooming yet, so there will surely be more.

However, there is just no way for us to utilize all of this bounty ourselves, so Steve’s office is loving us as we are sharing the overflow of vegetables. I am grateful that we have an abundance to share.
But, the abundance does not stop in my garden.
Yesterday, in my struggle to come up with books to fit bingo squares, you all gave me an abundance of recommendations. I am grateful for the community here.
The search for gratitude has changed my perspective and opened my eyes to the abundance around me.
What are you grateful for today?
I am grateful that you have reminded me to seek out and recognize the abundance that is around me, in my own garden where I tend to see the weeds first, and in friends I’ve never met taking the time to send good thoughts. Your words and photos are extraordinarily beautiful today. Thank you!
I am grateful for yesterday’s near perfect weather, not too humid or oppressively hot, for my knitting and reading, for cell phones that tie me to the kids 🙂
I’m grateful for getting out of work early today (and tomorrow!!) and for our son coming over for dinner tonight.
I am grateful that a nasty situation at work seems to be calming down. (at least on the surface, anyway, I still don’t completely trust this.) I’m also grateful for an upcoming weekend in NH with friends! Good for you for focusing on the bounty and being grateful for it.
I am grateful for my brand, new granddaughter who was born this morning after about 52 hours of labor. All are doing well!
I’m grateful for that Monday is a Holiday and Smith will have two evenings free this weekend! Oh, and SO MUCH MORE! Friends, they make my world go round!
Grateful for your book recommendations !
Grateful for a/c
Grateful for two shop owners donating to our GALA event
I am grateful for all the goodness that is my life: family, friends here and in the blogoverse; my health and that of loved ones; a tad cooler day, today; everyday that I get to live and appreciate the beauty of this world, despite the very imperfect people who inhabit it…my list is inexhaustible…and I do so appreciate your sharing and inviting us to share, also.
Cheers~
PS. Love your bounty! Enjoy!
I am grateful for so many things — but this week, I am most grateful for big improvements in my mom’s recovery. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your bounty with US! XO
I’m grateful for this community which brings so much and that I’m able to visit with my out of town cousins this coming weekend at the Cape. Good stuff. 🙂
